  一、 教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析

  本單元的核心話題是“Talk about jobs.” (談?wù)撀殬I(yè))。主要圍繞“What do you want to be? I want to be an actor.”這一主題展開教學(xué)活動。并以這一主題引出一系列職業(yè)的名稱,并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說出自己理想中的職業(yè)。本單元旨在創(chuàng)造一個輕松,愉快的學(xué)習(xí),交流環(huán)境。通過聽,說,讀,寫來培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合運用這些知識的能力。

  本單元Section A呈現(xiàn)了如何對職業(yè)進行提問的句型以及如何對職業(yè)進行描述。這部分內(nèi)容通過視,聽等方式提出的信息,引出本單元的主要句型:

  What does she do? She’s a doctor.

  What does she want to be? She wants to be an actor.

  文中安排的聽力練習(xí)由易到難,能讓學(xué)生展示捕捉特定信息的能力,輕松完成給對話排序,從而使學(xué)生們能體會到成功的喜悅,主動運用語言。

  二、教學(xué)設(shè)計理念

  1、本單元的教學(xué)活動始終遵循任務(wù)型教學(xué)的教學(xué)理念,以學(xué)生為學(xué)習(xí)的主體,以任務(wù)為中心,在運用語言完成任務(wù)的過程中來學(xué)習(xí),體會和掌握語言。

  2、自始自終貫穿了以交際為目的的原則(在做中學(xué),在學(xué)中用)

  3、在教學(xué)過程中,樹立以學(xué)生為本的'思想,提倡學(xué)生參與、體驗、獨立思考、合作探究。并在教學(xué)過程中滲透德育教育,樹立學(xué)生正確的人生觀。

  三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)設(shè)計

  1、知識與技能

  A.Master these words: actor、shop assistant、doctor、reporter、policeman、policewoman、waiter、bank clerk etc.

  B. Understand and use the sentence patterns correctly: What does he/she do? He is an actor/ a reporter. What do you want to be? I want to be an actor. What does he/she want to be? She wants to be a policewoman.

  C. Talk about jobs freely.

  2、過程與方法

  在教師的組織和引導(dǎo)下,學(xué)生以自主、探究、合作學(xué)習(xí)的方式,適當(dāng)利用多媒體技術(shù)達到提高聽、說、讀、寫、自主學(xué)習(xí)能力的5個目標(biāo)。

  3、情感態(tài)度與價值觀

  通過學(xué)生對職業(yè)的學(xué)習(xí)以及對自己理想中職業(yè)的談?wù),使學(xué)生樹立遠大的目標(biāo),從而進一步樹立正確的職業(yè)觀和人生價值觀。

  Teaching procedure:

  Step 1 Warming-up&Lead-in

  1.T:Today we are very happy.Let’s appreciate an English song —If You Are Happy.

  2.T: What do I do?

  I am a teacher.

  What do you do?

  Ss: I am a student..

  T: Yes, you are all students. I am a teacher.This class we learn some more new jobs.

  3. Elicit the new sentence according to the pictures:

  A: Who is he? B: He is…

  A:What does he do? B: He is an actor.

  A: What does he want to be? B: He wants to be a/an…

  4.Show pictures and learn some words: actor, shop assistant, doctor, reporter, policeman, policewoman,waiter, bank clerk, student etc.

  Let students answer some questions according to the pictures.

  Step 2 Practice

  1. Guessing game. Show some pictures on the screen and ask students to try to guess what the job is.

  2.Finish 1a:Match the words with the pictures.

  3.Pairwork

  Ask students to look at the picture and talk about the picture then make a dialogue.

  4. Group work

  Make a survey in groups of four.First ask and answer,then fill in the chart.

  Step 4 Consolidation

  You can use as many job words as you can.

  2.Groupwork

  What do you want to be when you grow up?Now discuss in groups of four, then give a report.

  1.Write a short passage about your family members.
