姚明發(fā)表球衣退役演講
說起姚明，身高注定了他的不凡，但最讓人印象深刻的依然是他那熱愛籃球的精神，不知不覺，我們的男神姚明也要退出球場了，雖然有不舍，但更多的是為他感到驕傲，在此次退役儀式的整個布置都可以強烈感受到這是對他籃球生涯的褒獎。下面我們一起快來看看他的演講吧。

Thank you. thank you Rockets’ fans. I like to say so many thanks, I want to send to Rockets, to city of Houston. The community,to Les who brought us together. Thank you for building this team and community,Thank you very much. First of all, you know there is during Chinese New Year. Iwish everybody Happy Chinese New Year, “Wan Shi Ru Yi”which means make yourwish come true.
感謝火箭的球迷，我有太多的感謝想說，我要對休斯頓，對這個社區(qū)表達我的謝意。還要謝謝萊斯利·亞歷山大(火箭隊的老板)，謝謝你把我們聚在一起，以及對這個球隊和社區(qū)所作出的貢獻。因為正值農(nóng)歷新年，我祝大家春節(jié)快樂，萬事如意。
憶過去
But when I walk(ed) in this room that(and)I saw the numbers up there , that I know my first wish in my(this) year is(has)already gone, because I wish I get a 10 days contract. But in this time, I can’t help myself thinking back.
I first met rockets back to 1994,when NBA first time broadcast in China.
Great Dream brought a championship back to Houston for the first time. I know many of you or some of you may witness that moment. Just remember,there is a kid over 10000 miles away say that too on TV. That is where my dreamstarted.
當我剛走進這里，看見自己的球衣被掛起來了，我知道我新年的第一個愿望泡湯了，因為我本想得到10天的合同。(10天合同是NBA球員最短的合同形式，調(diào)侃自己復出無望)
此時此刻，回望過去讓我思緒萬千，我在1994年認識了休斯頓火箭隊,那時候NBA剛剛在中國開始轉(zhuǎn)播，大夢(哈基姆·奧拉朱旺)為休斯頓帶來了休城史上的第一個總冠軍，我想現(xiàn)場的很多人都見證過這個時刻，而在數(shù)萬公里外的中國，一個小孩子在電視上也目睹了這個場景，那也成為我夢開始的地方。
講緣分
Thank you for the memory. Thanks to my coaches, Rudy T, Jeff Van Gandy, Rick Adelmen. Their effort and trust on me make(made) me believe coming to Houston is my destination. Every time when we were ready for a game, in that tunnel ready for getting to the court. Out there so many unkowning, maybe a victory ,maybe a loss, maybe a career ending. But no one doubt we were running out of fight for the city. Not only because we have great teammates around there, but also great fans here
感謝這些記憶，感謝我的教練，魯?shù)?bull;湯姆賈諾維奇，范甘迪，阿德爾曼，他們的努力和信任讓我相信，我與休斯頓的緣分是命中注定的。每當我們在球員通道準備上場時，面對未知的比賽結(jié)果，無論勝利或者失敗，職業(yè)生涯的高峰或者低谷，但是沒有人會質(zhì)疑我們?yōu)檫@座城市奮戰(zhàn)到底的決心，不僅僅是因為我們球隊有偉大的隊友，還因為這座城市有著無數(shù)偉大的球迷。
談隊友
We were a very passion(ate)，and young team 10 years ago，I believe Dikembe Mutombo will agree (to) that. Back then, I was chasing Steve Francis and Cattino Mobley in a transition just like two mini tank(s) dragging a huge Boeing 777 plane on the airport.
十年之前，我們是一支非常有激情的年輕球隊，我相信穆通姆博會同意的。(穆通姆博是當時的一位老將隊友，他的年齡一直是迷，姚明演講的時候總愿意拿這個事開心。)
After that, T-mac came to town joining us. Thank you for being here. You know there are so many unknowing(things) there, but just remember, give the ball to him when there's 35 seconds left.
那時候，在轉(zhuǎn)換進攻中弗朗西斯和莫布里就像兩個小坦克在機場里拉著一輛巨大的波音777飛機跑。(兩位后衛(wèi)隊友速度快，而姚明體型龐大、移動緩慢，經(jīng)常跟不上他倆的節(jié)奏。)
But you know what I tell(told) my neighbor after that night when I drive(drove home,because he turned off the TV minutes before the game over,I tell him that T-Mac & I scored 15 points in (the) last minute and turned the game around.
我的'鄰居曾以為勝負沒有懸念，在比賽結(jié)束前幾分鐘關掉了電視，那天晚上我回去跟他說，比賽的最后一分鐘我和麥迪合砍了15分，逆轉(zhuǎn)了比賽。(合砍15分，其中姚明只占2分，最早的梗是一名叫巴克利的球員進行自黑：我和喬丹都過著很好的生活，掙的錢都花不完。我們倆掙了6億美元，當然其中的5億7千萬是喬丹掙的。)
調(diào)侃總統(tǒng)
Back to locker room, Shane Battier always have us to bet the Marchmadness. And you know I am not from NCAA I don’t know much about it. Luckily I never win “what the hell am I thinking” award. Because I simply copied Mr President’s answer from TV. I mean the last one, not this one, I don’t know this one and how this one doing.
說說更衣室里面的事情，我剛來的時候巴蒂爾總是讓我們對大學生籃球聯(lián)賽進行競猜，但是我并不是出自美國高校，不過我對自己的競猜結(jié)果也沒什么好后悔的，因為我完全照抄總統(tǒng)先生的預測答案。(美國總統(tǒng)奧巴馬也是狂熱的球迷，當每年聯(lián)賽進行到“瘋狂3月”的時候，奧巴馬也會對賽事的最終冠軍，四強進行預測，但是他連續(xù)6年都沒有猜對最終的冠軍，對四強的預測也與現(xiàn)實大相徑庭。)我說的總統(tǒng)是指奧巴馬，不是川普，我不認識川普也不知道他在做什么。
我不會忘記你們
When I just came to the town, Houston to me is no different than any other city in US. As time passed by, all the faces come into my memory, friends teammates, coaches, staffs, medias and most importantly, fans. The fan like Mr and Mrs Sawyers family right there. They support Rockets for over decades. Remember this, from now on, Houston for me is just simply a word. Every time when mention it, your faces will be in my memory, in my brain.
當我剛來到休斯頓的時候，和其他美國城市相比，我并不覺得休斯頓有什么特別之處，但隨著時光飛逝，我的隊友，教練，工作人員，媒體朋友的臉龐已經(jīng)逐漸融入到我的記憶里。球迷們也給予了我們巨大的支持，像坐在那里的索耶先生和太太，他們幾十年來一直支持火箭隊。休斯頓對于我，不僅僅是一個地名，每當有人提起它的時候，你們的身影就會浮現(xiàn)在我的記憶力，我的腦海中。
趣事一則
I will share a story with everybody to conclude my speech. That's (was) in my rookie season, about (the) same time during the year, that's (was) my first Chinese new year with my family spend oversea(s) outside my country. I've been tricked to the locker room in Compaq Center, all my teammates, CD, and coaching staff were waiting here, Steve, you were there too, that wish me a happy new year, everyone of those, and gave me those red envelopes have a little bit money in there，that's according (to )our tradition in Chinese(China)
再給大家講個故事，新秀賽季，我和家人第一次離開祖國過春節(jié)，我被叫到了更衣室，所有隊友和教練都在里面祝我們新年快樂，而且為了尊重中國的傳統(tǒng)，每人給我發(fā)了紅包。

Well thanks for doing that to make me home over there that year,but I checked the envelop that there's (was) only 2 dollar there. So I talked to CD,I said, CD, you just will put at least 10 in there instead of 2.And then CD come(came) back to me (and) said, you know we have a salary cap, right?
I still have one of those 2 dollar bill(s) in my pocket and i carried it since then, because I know where ever I go and how far I go,as long as that bill (is) in my pocket, the home is with me.Thank you for the journey. Thank you.
謝謝你們給了我家的感覺，但我打開紅包一看只有2美元。我問總經(jīng)理道森，至少給個10美元吧。結(jié)果他說：“你知道，我們有工資帽限制的。”(為了平衡球隊實力，NBA規(guī)定了每個球隊所有球員薪資總額上限，就是工資帽。但是在美國文化中，兩美元寓意幸運。)
我一直留了其中的一張在身上，因為我知道，無論走到哪，只要它在我身邊，就意味著家就在身邊。謝謝你們!
一點心得
在眾多的體育明星中，姚明的英語相當流利。當被問及如何學英語時，姚明說：如果你打算學習一個新語言，那么你不要試著力求完美。這會讓你不敢說話，你需要大膽去說。姚明透露，自己從未請過專門的老師來學習英語，完全是靠多混更衣室，和隊友們交流自然學會的。學英語最樸素的道理，這下有了最著名的例子。
當然普通人恐怕不會有姚明這樣的機會，每天與眾多美國人有眾多交流的機會，雖然沒有專門的英語老師，可是他曾經(jīng)有過專門的翻譯。而且聽說和讀寫的學習方式也不一樣，從嚴格的語法角度來說，姚明的這篇演講其實是有不少時態(tài)的錯誤。所以想扎實提高自己的讀寫能力，大量閱讀原版的英文經(jīng)典書籍就是一個非常好的選擇。
