taking stock of one's career or to evaluate your career, try asking yourself the following questions.
1) are you happy? a satisfied worker works harder and does a better job.
2) have you met the original expectations that you set forth for yourself at this job?
3) do you measure up to your counterparts? how is your situation compared to that of your co-workers?
4) appraise your future at your company. does your future look good? what are your chances at a promotion?
5) ask your parents if you have fulfilled their expectations.
6) ask yourself if your job has fulfilled your personal expectations. after you completely understand these questions,discuss your answers with a friend or counterpart. good workers take stock in their careers at least once a year. stay on track to catch the money train!
