美國留學電話面試題目及準備方法攻略解讀

　　電話面試技巧

　　在電話面試之前，學校會事先用e-mail和你確定時間，你應該準備充分，但不要忘了中美之間的時差，準確計算好時間，即使教授遲到也要耐心等待。面試中的主要問題大多有關研究興趣（research interest），研究背景（research background），教學經驗（teaching experience），所學課程的名稱（the names of your courses），個人興趣 （individual interests）等等。

　　How to prepare telephone interview?

　　把教授可能提的問題列出來，并寫出答案，反復練習。可以找個老外請教，他可能會給你出謀劃策，也幫你練練口語。多準備一些專業(yè)問題。一般申請RA，肯定會問一些專業(yè)問題，如要求的一些基礎理論和基本技術，以及具體的技術。另外需準備一些向教授的提問，例如該學校的氣候（climate），生活環(huán)境（living environment），學費（tuition）和獎學金的數量（the amount of scholarship）等等�？傊疁蕚湟欢ㄒ�充分。

　　How to conduct an interview?

　　在面試之前，一定要放松，充滿自信但要禮貌，記住，是他們想要你。并且一般interview之前offer差不多都決定了。如果在 面試中你有一些問題不懂，可以用忘了詞匯來解釋。如： Question: What method you learn on optimization? Answer: NEWTON，and some others I do not know how to pronounce.

　　在面試過程中不要機械地背誦你所準備的材料，只放在手邊作為參考。說英語時盡量慢，你是中國學生，只要說清楚就行了，快了反而會弄巧成拙。當然如果你的英語極好就另當別論了。假如面試開始時你聽不懂或聽不清教授的問題，你可以問： Please speak loudly because my phoneline is not clear. 教授就會說得更大聲、更慢。準備一些歡迎和感謝的客套話，但盡量顯得不卑不亢。例如： I do appreciate that you give me such a good chance to talk to you. Thank you for your calling!

　　當面試感覺不錯時，千萬不要忘記提醒他關于獎學金的事。例如： I do want to be your student. But you know, I cannot go without full financial aid. （要堅決表達出：如果你不給我全獎，我是不會去的。相反，如果你給我全獎，我會拒掉其他學校。）

　　后還會問一個問題，就是你現在拿到哪些學校的offer了。你的回答應該是說兩三個比這個學校排名差一點點的學校（不要差太遠），同時也要暗示對方有名校對你感興趣（比如說也安排了一個幾天后的interview）。這樣，他會很快做出決定。
