　　Campus

　　這個單詞童鞋們應(yīng)該都不陌生，它就是我們常說的校園啦!

　　例句：

　　As I walked around the campus, this thought came to mind: How wonderful it would be to go to a university like this!

　　Quad

　　這個單詞指的是由幾棟樓包圍起來的一塊四方形的空地，在很多澳洲高校的校園里都可以見到，童鞋們可以坐在這里的草坪上看書、學(xué)習(xí)、聊天、野餐等等。

　　例句：

　　Students love to hang out in the quad and have a picnic or do homework.

　　Matriculation

　　大學(xué)的入學(xué)許可，表示童鞋們可以來大學(xué)里攻讀學(xué)位啦!

　　例句：

　　In a statement, the diocese said that incoming freshman for next fall would be guaranteed four years of matriculation at the current campus.

　　Censusu Date

　　在學(xué)校的.校歷上常�？梢钥吹竭@個詞，它指的是統(tǒng)計日，在這個日期之前可以退選課程而無需支付罰款。因為很多童鞋在學(xué)期開始之后會臨時改變學(xué)習(xí)計劃，所以只要在Census Date之前退選課程，就不需要承擔(dān)課程費用，成績單上也不會有相應(yīng)的記錄。

　　Credit

　　這個詞可是非常重要的，因為它指的是我們要修的學(xué)分，不同的學(xué)校，不同的科目所要求的學(xué)分是有所不同的，所以童鞋們一定要事先了解清楚，學(xué)分修不滿的話可是沒辦法順利畢業(yè)的!

　　學(xué)校里面掌管財務(wù)的人，如果你對學(xué)費等開銷有什么問題的話就可以去找這個人。

　　He said that when he walked into the bursar’s office on Friday morning with a 33-pound duffel bag full of cash, the tellers were stunned.

　　Academic Transcript

　　學(xué)術(shù)成績單，這是由大學(xué)官方出具的文件，記錄你在讀書期間所有課程的注冊記錄和成績。

　　例句：

　　They told him that if he didn’t take a leave of absence he would be involuntarily withdrawn, which would be reflected on his academic transcript.

　　Lecture / Tutorial

　　"Lecture"一般指很多學(xué)生一起上的大課，而"Tutorial"指的是規(guī)模比較小的授課形式，學(xué)生可以在課堂上有更多機會與老師和同學(xué)互動交流。

　　Every student should read the materials given in the lectures before attending the tutorials.

　　Seminar

　　一種類似研討會的授課形式，通常以學(xué)生參與討論為主，講師會提出一些問題，然后學(xué)生們就這些問題展開激烈的討論。

　　School district officials insist students are allowed to leave the classroom during seminar only for "curriculum-related activities".

　　Prerequisite

　　預(yù)修課程，指的是在注冊其它某些科目之前需要提前學(xué)習(xí)的課程。

　　例句：

　　Major

　　學(xué)生在學(xué)校主修的專業(yè)，也就是專攻或重點研究的課程或領(lǐng)域。

　　Syllabus

　　這就是我們平時所說的類似教學(xué)大綱的東西，里面介紹了一門課的結(jié)構(gòu)、要學(xué)習(xí)的內(nèi)容、作業(yè)內(nèi)容、Due Dates、評分標(biāo)準等，童鞋們在學(xué)習(xí)一門課之前一定要仔細閱讀Syllabus里面的內(nèi)容。
