　　該面試主要針對Tier 4 (General)Student visa的申請者，也就是國內(nèi)所有申請出國留學(xué)的人員。對于Children和Student visitor簽證目前不增加面試程序。

　　二、面試流程

　　在英國簽證中心遞交申請材料的學(xué)生將會領(lǐng)取到一份面試手冊，里面主要介紹了面試系統(tǒng)的使用。被抽到參加面試的同學(xué)將被告知面試方式和時間。面試主要通過三種途徑進(jìn)行面對面、電話以及Skype。一般而言，學(xué)生會在遞交材料的同時被要求參加Skype面試。

　　整個過程將持續(xù)大約10分鐘。面試由設(shè)在英國謝菲爾德(Sheffiled)的辦事人員負(fù)責(zé)。他們會主要針對一些基本問題進(jìn)行提問并做記錄(比如姓名、生日、申請學(xué)校、選擇這所學(xué)校的理由、選擇該專業(yè)的理由、為什么要去英國等，基本上和在英國機(jī)場入境時被問到的問題差不多)。這些辦事人員并不是簽證官，沒有決定學(xué)生簽證是否通過的職權(quán)。他們只是將記錄材料以報告形式提交給簽證官，作為申請材料的補充。據(jù)悉，英國政府已經(jīng)配備了足夠的人員來配合新規(guī)定的實施，因此不會大幅度的延長申請時間。

　　三、簽證面試的主要目的

　　該面試主要對學(xué)生個人信息的真實性、留學(xué)動機(jī)和個人能力進(jìn)行綜合的評估，以此減少以留學(xué)為幌子的其他非法行為，并間接提高留學(xué)生的整體質(zhì)量。

　　因此，只要學(xué)生提供信息真實準(zhǔn)確、了解申請學(xué)校和專業(yè)的基本情況、并且具備基本的英文溝通能力，就不必?fù)?dān)心該面試對其簽證申請的影響。

　　四、參加面試的建議

　　1.雖然簽證中心表示該規(guī)定不會影響簽證審理時間，但這里仍然建議學(xué)生提前申請簽證。

　　2.申請學(xué)校和簽證的材料必須真實可靠。

　　3.建議學(xué)生在收到留學(xué)顧問的留學(xué)方案后，到學(xué)校的官方的網(wǎng)站了解所申請專業(yè)的詳細(xì)信息。

　　4.面試當(dāng)天務(wù)必提前抵達(dá)面試地點，不要遲到。

　　5.該面試并不是雅思口語考試，沒有成績。所以請學(xué)生以平常心面對，不必過分緊張。

　　6.平時在家可以多練習(xí)用英語表達(dá)自己的留學(xué)意愿和對申請專業(yè)的描述。
