英語讀書筆記1
句型是根據(jù)句子的結(jié)構(gòu)、特點和意義從大量的句子中抽象、概括出來的語言的一般表現(xiàn)形式。在教學中,根據(jù)學生的認知特點、心理特點和教學實際,運用建構(gòu)主義教學思想設(shè)計教學活動,有利于句型教學目標的高度達成,應(yīng)當把握以下四個基本途徑。
一、創(chuàng)設(shè)真實情景,加強意義理解
建構(gòu)主義學習理論把創(chuàng)設(shè)情境看做是“意義建構(gòu)”的必要前提。在小學英語教學中,教師可利用多媒體和其他直觀教學手段,創(chuàng)設(shè)有利于學習者建構(gòu)意義的情景,加強對句型的感知與理解。例如,為了教學生“行為動詞一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)的一般疑問句式及其肯定和否定回答方式”,一位教師在教室前的黑板上方懸掛了一個氣球,邀請一個男生和一個女生進行觸摸氣球的競賽,并發(fā)出“Jump high and touch the balloon”的指令。男生跳得高,碰到了氣球;女生則沒有觸摸到氣球。這時,教師很自然地指著男生問其他學生:Does he iump high?學生回答:Yes,he does,再指著女生問:Does she jump high?教師得到的回答自然是No,she doesn’t,這樣。學生就在這個真實的情景中自然地理解了該句型的意義。
二、設(shè)計舊知鋪墊。巧妙呈現(xiàn)新知
在小學英語教學中,教師要充分挖掘教材,把學生原有的知識、經(jīng)驗作為獲取新知識的基礎(chǔ),通過提示新、舊句型之間的聯(lián)系,幫助學生建構(gòu)當前所學句型的意義。例如,在教學《牛津小學英語2B》(譯林版,下同)第三單元“What can you see?”時,有一位教師首先與學生進行已經(jīng)學過的“Can you…?”會話,然后通過多媒體出示一個停車場的夜景圖。隨著一束模擬探照燈的光束移向不同的車輛,教師逐個說:A car.I can see a car.A bus.Ican see a bus.A jeep.I can see…然后,將光束聚焦在一輛小汽車上,問學生:What can you see?引導學生答:Ican see a car.這種從舊知引人人手,通過鋪墊性操練,引導學生自然地感知并理解新句型,學生會學得輕松、活潑。
三、強調(diào)意義聯(lián)系。實現(xiàn)知識遷移
建構(gòu)主義學習理論認為,學習不是簡單的信息積累,更重要的是包含新舊知識經(jīng)驗的沖突。以及由此而引發(fā)的認知結(jié)構(gòu)的重組!奥(lián)系”與“思考”是意義構(gòu)建的關(guān)鍵。小學英語句型教學應(yīng)培養(yǎng)學生通過對知識的主動探索和發(fā)現(xiàn)來建構(gòu)所學知識的意義。
《牛津小學英語》教材的編寫采用循環(huán)式編排方式。以時間表達的句型為例,這套教材在3B、4A、5B的教材中先后三次在相關(guān)單元安排了時間表達的不同句型,體現(xiàn)了“循序漸進、逐步擴展、綜合復(fù)現(xiàn)”的原則。有一位教師在教學5B第七單元“A busy day時安排了4個教學步驟:1 教師出示教具鐘。T:What’s the time?(舊知)S1:It’s three o’clock,(舊知)2 教師將時間撥到3:30。T:What time is it?(新知)S2:It’s three thirty,(舊知)3 學習新句型后,教師讓學生向教師提問。S3:What time is it?(剛學的新知)T:n’s halfpast three,(新知)4 教師出示新舊句型,讓學生讀一讀,比一比,想一想,說一說。
這種根據(jù)教材內(nèi)容的編排特點,幫助學生實現(xiàn)由舊知向新知的遷移的教學方法,既突出了知識的連貫性和整體性的教學,從客觀上降低了學生理解新知的難度,又有利于學生循序漸進地建構(gòu)新知。
四、提倡協(xié)作交流。體現(xiàn)真實交際
建構(gòu)主義學習理論認為,理想的學習環(huán)境應(yīng)當包括情境、協(xié)作、交流和意義建構(gòu)四個部分。其中,協(xié)作應(yīng)該貫穿于整個學習活動過程中。在這個過程中。每個學習者的想法都為整個學習群體所共享。交流是協(xié)作過程中最基本的方式,而真實交流的活動又是學習環(huán)境的重要的特征。有一位教師在教學5B第五單元時,在句型教學的最后環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)計了“認識新朋友”的任務(wù)。教師出示朋友Tom的照片,要求學生分組討論如何利用所學的新句型“Does he?”來了解Tom的情況,并把問題記錄下來,派代表向老師提問,以獲取Tom的相關(guān)信息。交流時,學生紛紛發(fā)言:Does he live in London?Does he studyChinese,9 Does hertln fast,9 Does he swim well?…在這個存在信息差的交際任務(wù)中,學生相互協(xié)作,通過交流建構(gòu)起了有關(guān)Tom的信息資料,既熟練鞏固了所學句型,又在真實的交際活動中獲得了成功的喜悅感,增添了學習信心和興趣。
任何一門課程的教學目標都不是唯一的,但是,任何課程都有一個基本目標。那么小學英語教育的基本目標是什么?《英語課程標準(實驗稿)》對此作了一個明確的回答,這就是“學生的發(fā)展是英語課程的出發(fā)點和歸宿”。這里,“學生的發(fā)展”的內(nèi)涵是豐富的,但是決不能被泛化而失去其最基本的學科特征。它應(yīng)當主要地是指學生英語語言能力的發(fā)展。
在一個以英語作為外語教育的國度里,學生英語語言能力發(fā)展的主要途徑還是靠課堂。這就給我們的小學英語教師提出了一個問題,即如何通過課堂教學來促進學生的英語語言能力的發(fā)展。
對于這個問題,許多小學英語教師一直在實踐中艱苦探索,努力在實踐中做出了一些改進,也或多或少取得了一些成效。但是,從總體來看,這個問題并沒有得到令人滿意的解決。一個重要原因是,我們的教學研究只是試圖不斷調(diào)整我們那些不恰當?shù)慕虒W行為,而并沒有真正觸及英語課堂教學改革的靈魂,即沒有真正解決制約英語教育發(fā)展的理論與理念的問題。
在新一輪基礎(chǔ)教育課程改革的進程中,建構(gòu)主義教學思想猶如一縷春風,向我們撲面而來。源于西方哲學思想又被認知心理學所廣泛應(yīng)用的'建構(gòu)主義,其基本原理一經(jīng)應(yīng)用于課堂教學。就產(chǎn)生了奇跡般的效果,建構(gòu)主義教學思想也因此應(yīng)運而生。
與西方以往外語教學法各種流派不同的是,建構(gòu)主義教學思想不僅突出強調(diào)了“以人為本”和“促進人的發(fā)展”的思想——這與我們的新課程改革在本質(zhì)上是完全一致的——更重要的是,它是有其堅實的哲學基礎(chǔ)的。
辯證唯物論認為,世界是普遍聯(lián)系的;建構(gòu)主義教學思想則認為。任何學科知識都是具有聯(lián)系性的,真正的語言能力是綜合運用語言的能力,而不是孤立的、機械的、僵死的應(yīng)答操練。離開具體情境的語句是沒有任何確定性意義的,
辨證唯物論認為,物質(zhì)世界的發(fā)展總是有條件的;建構(gòu)主義教學思想則認為,語言知識的建構(gòu)不僅需要激發(fā)學生已有的語言知識儲備和經(jīng)驗積累,而且需要創(chuàng)設(shè)、呈現(xiàn)新的語言現(xiàn)象的具體情境。讓學生在真實的或模擬的情境中去體悟新的語言現(xiàn)象及其語義和用法。
辯證唯物論認為,物質(zhì)運動總是在原有的基礎(chǔ)上,從低級向高級不斷發(fā)展的:建構(gòu)主義教學思想則認為,學生的語言知識和語言能力的建構(gòu)和發(fā)展過程是必須循序漸進的。
辯證唯物論認為,人對世界的認識是需要發(fā)揮主觀能動作用的;建構(gòu)主義教學思想則認為,學生的知識與能力的獲得過程是需要學生這個學習主體去主動探究和親歷體驗的,而不能是被動接受的。
世界上沒有包治百病的靈丹妙藥。建構(gòu)主義教學思想對于促進學生英語語言能力的發(fā)展也不可能是萬能的。然而,在我們研究了《英語課程標準(實驗稿)》所倡導的六大理念時,競發(fā)現(xiàn)這六大理念無不與建構(gòu)主義教學思想相關(guān)聯(lián)!這決不是一個巧合!如此說來,在我們苦思冥想如何通過改善課堂教學來促進學生的英語語言能力的發(fā)展這個問題時,我們是否應(yīng)該從建構(gòu)主義教學思想中得到一些啟示呢?
課外活動是教學的一種輔助組織形式,是課堂教學的集成和深入。因此,有效的布置這類作業(yè),有助于教學質(zhì)量的提高。根據(jù)課外活動及英語學科的特點,布置此類作業(yè)有以下幾種形式。
(1) 英語歌曲
唱歌能陶冶人的情操,優(yōu)美的旋律能帶給人歡樂,絕大數(shù)學生喜歡唱歌。經(jīng)典的英文老歌“Edelweiss”,家喻戶曉的影視名曲“My heart will go on”無不令人陶醉,而最受學生歡迎的要數(shù)流行歌曲了,S.H.E, F4一首首好聽的英語歌曲,使他們感覺新鮮、刺激。因此,學生常常使積極主動地去聽去學,自己自覺地練。所以布置這樣的作業(yè)時要允許學生自由選擇,選擇了自己感興趣的英文歌曲,他們便經(jīng)常唱,反復(fù)唱。這樣,他們能在體驗音樂美感的同時,不自覺地復(fù)習或?qū)W習一些單詞、句型,從而提高了他們的記憶能力和英語學習的興趣。為了提高學生學習英語的積極性,我們可舉辦英文歌曲演唱會,讓學生登臺演出,體驗成功的喜悅,參與的樂趣。
(2) 英語競賽
每個人都有自己的長處,面向全體學生,充分發(fā)揮不同學生的長處組織各種競賽,這又是課外活動型作業(yè)的一種形式。組織此項活動可以以年級為單位,形式有英語書法比賽、聽力比賽、演講比賽、猜詞比賽、智力問答、腦筋急轉(zhuǎn)彎等等。因此此類作業(yè)形式生動有趣,學生會以極大的熱情積極準備,教師應(yīng)組織評為認真評定,評出集體獎和個人獎,對學生的成績予以表彰。此項活動可以發(fā)展學生的智力和個性,展現(xiàn)他們的才華。
(3) 英語角
為了給學生創(chuàng)造英語語言環(huán)境,我們還可以給學生布置這樣的作業(yè),即每周參加英語角活動。在學校文化氛圍較濃厚的走廊花架處設(shè)立“英語角”的活動場所,在其入口的醒目位置豎立“Welcome To Our English Conner”等標牌。這樣的布置立刻使學生感受到一種說英語的氛圍,給學生創(chuàng)立了一個仿真的口語交際與應(yīng)用環(huán)境。有時侯還可以根據(jù)需要和條件邀請外籍教師來校參觀與英語角的活動。學生可以在英語角大聲背誦課文中的小詩、繞口令、兒歌;或根據(jù)老師確定的主題小組交談或是進行辯論賽。還可用英語與老師和同學自由地交流思想,交流學習。英語角的活動使學生在語言運用中不知不覺地獲得了英語知識和技能,口語交際能力大大提高了。這種語言環(huán)境的營造可使學生體會到學英語有趣,學英語有用,英語容易學。
(4) 聽英語廣播,看櫻花雨電視節(jié)目
課本的知識再多也是有限的,而我們的周圍英語無處不在,電視里有豐富多彩的英語節(jié)目,CCTV Channel 5的球賽轉(zhuǎn)播,CCTV Channel 6 周二的原聲影院,引人入勝的Discovery, 與中學生同步的Outlook, 還有收音機里的英語新聞,只要我們稍加布置和引導,這些英語就會展現(xiàn)在學生們的面前。因為學生感興趣,所以這是一類不用監(jiān)督也一定會出色完成的作業(yè)形式。
(5) 英語表演
為了培養(yǎng)學生的綜合素質(zhì),我們還可以布置英語表演型作業(yè)?勺寣W生自編、自演,也可以讓學生把一些經(jīng)典的課本劇搬上舞臺,如學生們熟悉的童話劇《灰姑娘》《白雪公主》,還有著名作家的文學作品,《項鏈》《麥琪的禮物》等。學生在這項活動中自己設(shè)計臺詞、表演、動作、服裝、道具、舞臺背景、燈光等,使他們各方面的才華得到充分的展示。
總之,多種形式的課外活動型作業(yè),貼近自然、貼近生活、貼近社會,在一定程度上彌補了課堂教學的不足,豐富了學生的課余生活,是整個英語教學過程的一個有機組成部分,與英語課堂教學密切有關(guān),是實現(xiàn)英語教學目的的重要途徑之一。它保護了學生的好奇心,培養(yǎng)了他們的自主性和創(chuàng)新意識,激發(fā)了學生學習英語的積極性。

近期認真研讀了《初中英語新課標》一書后,深有感觸,我知道了要防止強調(diào)模仿、死記硬背、機械操練的教學傾向,重視科學地設(shè)計教學過程,努力創(chuàng)設(shè)真實的問題情境,營造啟動學生思維的教學環(huán)境,為學生提供豐富的學習資源,幫助學生通過各種渠道獲取知識,加速知識的內(nèi)化過程,使他們能夠在聽、說、讀、寫等語言交際活動中靈活運用知識,變語言知識為英語交際的工具。所以從根本上改變面貌學習方式,保證學生自主性、探究性的學習,已成為新課程改革的突破口。而教師教學行為的變化和學生學習方式的改變也被視為新課程改革是否成功的標志。因此,在目前狀況下,積極倡導初中英語有意義學習的思想,深刻領(lǐng)會有意義學習的概念、一般特征和實施條件,對于引發(fā)初中學生英語學習方式的.革新、教師教學方式的改變,進而推進基礎(chǔ)教育向縱深發(fā)展有著深遠的現(xiàn)實意義。
依據(jù)意義學習的基本理論,初中英語的有意義學習應(yīng)具有以下四個特征:
1、學習具有個人參與的性質(zhì),即要把整個人的認知和情感都投入到學習活動之中。
2、學習是自我發(fā)起的,學習者由于內(nèi)在的愿望而主動去探索、發(fā)現(xiàn)和了解事件的意義。
3、學習是滲透性的。它會使學生的行為、態(tài)度,乃至個性都發(fā)生變化。
4、學習是由學生自我評價的。學生最清楚某種學習的方式是否滿足自己的需要,是否有助于得到他想要的東西,是否弄明白了自己原先不甚清楚的知識。
為了幫助學生開展有意義學習,促成學生自我發(fā)展和自我實現(xiàn),本學期在初中英語教學中我從以下幾個方面做了嘗試。
一、導入要新穎
俗話說:“良好的開端是成功的一半”。上課也一樣。教師的循循誘導,能讓學生產(chǎn)生強烈的求知欲和好奇心,從而更積極主動地參加課堂教學,為整節(jié)課的成功作準備?梢圆捎靡韵聨追N導入:⒈歌曲導入。⒉設(shè)置懸念。當然導入很多,教學中不能單一的用一種導入,也許這種導入剛開始學生覺得很有勁,但天天用學生就會厭倦了。所以教師設(shè)計時要多多新穎,多多改變,盡量多樣性。
二、創(chuàng)設(shè)情景,多用直觀教學
由于初學生年齡較小,生活經(jīng)驗不豐富,知識范圍有限,決定了他們對直觀、新穎、有趣的材料容易理解和接受。作為一個初中英語教師表情要豐富,如果表情呆滯,語言平淡,學生就不能全身心投入學習中。所以在課堂上,老師需要生動地表演,豐富的表情,使學生進入一個童話世界。在制作教具時可讓學生自己動手畫、動手做。在教學中要用到的圖片,可以提早幾天布置下去,當他們的作品被運用在課堂上時,學生們都很興奮。這樣使學生體會到成功的喜悅也激發(fā)了學英語的興趣。此外畫圖片,也培養(yǎng)了學生的繪畫能力,也可讓他們熟悉一下將要學的新知識,一舉多得。
三、運用多種教學方式使學生“玩學結(jié)合”
愛玩都是學生的天性。教師在課前充分利用教材內(nèi)容,精心設(shè)計一系列知識性、趣味性強的聽、說、讀、寫教學游戲,使學生邊玩游戲邊學習,在豐富多彩的游戲中接受英語,喜歡英語,達到“玩與學”相結(jié)合的目的。在小學英語書上有許多單詞要記住,這就得通過讓學生在各種游戲中慢慢學習單詞,而不是死記硬背。我們要掌握的單詞以卡片、圖片、頭飾、動作等各種不同形式展現(xiàn)給學生,通過各種游戲進行滲透。
四、鼓勵學生的合作性,對學生進行有效的評價
英語是一門實踐性、操作性很強的學科,新課程核心理念就是參與、合作。通過合作性學習,使學生相互學習,相互幫助。合作精神是培養(yǎng)情感態(tài)度的一個重要內(nèi)容,教師要在教學中特意設(shè)計相關(guān)活動以培養(yǎng)學生的合作精神。在合作內(nèi)容上,多給他們創(chuàng)造的空間;在合作形式上,講求變化。把不同層次不同風格的學生分成一組,讓他們自己選出組長。在組長的帶領(lǐng)下,進行預(yù)習、學習、復(fù)習、鞏固,還可以做一些和學習有關(guān)的游戲,然后把結(jié)果由組長整理歸納后呈現(xiàn)給老師,老師再與學生們一起共同學習、操練。
評價可以使學生認識自我,樹立自信,有助于反思及調(diào)整自己的學習過程,對學生回答學習過程中的表現(xiàn)進行及時的評價,如有口頭評價、等級評價、學生之間互相評價等方法,充分發(fā)覺學生的進步,鼓勵學生自我反思,自我提高,以學生綜合運用能力為目標,側(cè)重于學生理解和獲取信息,通過評價學生學會分析自己的成績和不足,明確努力方向。
在目前教育改革與發(fā)展產(chǎn)生深刻劇變的關(guān)鍵時期,以英語新課程理念為指導,加強對初中生英語學習觀念、行為的研究與剖析,著力改革和完善初中生的英語學習方式,努力構(gòu)建符合新課程改革目標要求的有意義學習理論與實踐體系,對優(yōu)化學生英語學習和促進英語新課程改革取得實質(zhì)性進展,都顯得極為迫切和重要。而初中英語教學的關(guān)鍵在于讓學生喜歡學習英語,激發(fā)他們的求知欲望,從而促使他們主動地學習英語。作為教師,在今后的教學中,我們要運用各種教學手段和方法培養(yǎng)學生的學習興趣、挖掘?qū)W習潛能,讓學生在最優(yōu)環(huán)境中學習英語,感悟英語,觸摸英語,讓他們在學中找到樂趣,在愉悅中學到知識,在學習中永遠有動力。

The story happened during the Civil War OHara,a 16-year-old girl,who was living in Tala manor in Georgia,was loving her neighbor Ashley the war have broken out, Ashley Wilkes married his yonger cousin Melanie. Scarlett was so angry that she decided to marry a man she didn?t really love—— Charles long after that, Charles Hamilton joined the Army and died of illness in the Scarlett had to act as a a donating dance party,Scarlett is acquainted with a captain named Rhett Butler. Then the flames of war approached was busy leaving away from the managed to escape from Atlanta with the help of captain come back to Tala manor,Scarlett made up her mind to rally her homeland at any cost when she saw that the former manor had been second husband died in the fight,she was a widow that time, Rhett had been loving Scarlett sincerely and that Rhett could help her rally the manor,Scarlett married Rhett had similar characteristic attracting her,Scarlett still loved only daughter died accidently,Rhett left Scarlett then Scarlett realized that Rhett was the only one who could fall in love with her.
The novel takes the US Civil War as the takes Scarlett?s individual activity as the book show us a tragic love story .A couple who could have a perfect future,but finnally go in opposite a matter of fact,their charactristics have decided their tragic result feel sorry about the end because we are looking forward to a perfect end,just like Scarlett and fact,ferfect is always a excessive damand.
I affirm brings excitement to Scarlett?s life and encourages her impulse to change and Scarlett,he goes after what he wants and refuses to take ?no? for an is humorous,intelligent and cynical with a hint of is really a respectable think he finnally left because of love .Otherwise,he couldn?t have gone without hesitation.
Ashley Wilkes is the foil to Rhett?s dark, realistic there was no Civil War,he is surely a nobility of grace and history cannot be bocame a victim of the era was gone with the defeat of the the same time,we cannot deny the fact that he had a chear understanding about reality,which just contribute to his tragedy.
In this book,what I appreciate most is not Melanie?skindness or Rheet?s dedication and patience,but Scarlett?s courage to throw her long-standing morality and tradition whe faced with the beginning of the war,she didn?t care about her world are endless dinner parties and dance her body are her father?s brave Irish blood and her mother?s noble French pure had a vast farm as her had hundreds of is Scarlett.,a member of noblity,proud and war changed mother died of father become silent and the farm was nearly food became a big the pressure was put on Scarlett?s must feed a family of 9 people in a big difference of all this happened to someone else,he or she may choose to the contrary,Scarlett choose to face the change of life can we not admire her courage of to change is like a road can?t be completely we fall down from the peak,we may get hert ,we may get disappointed,we may feel if you want to survive,you must stand up to face it.

The Red and the Black is a profound and witty book about the rise of a poor, handsome and intellectually gifted, young provincial into the salons of High Society in Paris.
Handsome and ambitious, Julien Sorel is determined to rise above his humble peasant origins and make something of his life-by adopting the code of hypocrisy by which his society operates. Julien ultimately commits a crime-out of passion, principle, or insanity-that will bring about his downfall. The Red and the Black is a lively, satirical picture of French Restoration society after Waterloo, riddled with corruption, greed, and ennui. The complex, sympathetic portrayal of Julien, the cold exploiter whose Machiavellian campaign is undercut by his own emotions, makes him Stendhal's most brilliant and human creation-and one of the greatest characters in European literature.
I really enjoyed this book. Unlike many reviewers, I feel the book does transcend time. American people and culture today, computers and all, are a lot like those in Stendhal's 19th century France.
The main characters strike me as real, and quite complex. Julien is a typical adolescent/ young adult: Idealistic, searching and unsure of himself. To me, it is amazing to what how the world interacts with and alters his self-image. Mathilde is equally interesting. She reminds me of a flighty alternative girl, looking for a dream of simmering romance. And MME de Renal is a wonderful, believable woman, falling in love late in life, victim of the missing husband syndrome.
Like people today, Stedhal's characters are a bundle of contradictions. Is Julien a villain, an angel, a self-serving climber or a man truly in love, searching for his higher self? Aloof or loveable? Is MME de Renal a devout, moral patroness, devoted to her family, or the vilest of adulators, ready to turn her back on duty for the simmer of love? Is Mathilde submissive, or arrogant and dominant? The answer to all questions is yes. We are all divided.
Be honest with yourself for a minute. Aren't people sometimes cruel, and sometimes kind; Sometimes, honest, sometimes mildly deceitful, telling white lies, and sometimes bold-faced liars? Since Stendhal is faithful to this, and does not give us character in black and white, he has produced a masterpiece.

Dr Bethune was a famous doctor From Canada. In 1938, he came to China. At that time , China was at war with Japan. He worked as a doctor in the Chinese army and saved many soldiers’ lives. He worked very hard and became sick. Dr Bethune died in 1939. He was only 49 years old. He was a good man and we remember him today.

-------reading after a science pa-pe-r
These days , I am busy preparing my dissertation which is about web usage mining . I read some English pa-pe-rs and learnt much from them . And now , I want to say something about a pa-pe-r titled “Web Usage Mining :Discovery and Applications of Usage Patterns from Web Data”.
This is the first English pa-pe-r I read about dissertation and gave me great help .
This pa-pe-r is a review about web usage mining. It introduced web usage mining in detail . Although it is a little old for it was published in 20xx , its contents are very useful today . It is organized according to the sequence of web usage mining and the six main parts are introduction which tells me what is web usage mining , the sources and abstraction of web data , the three steps of web usage mining , taxonomy and project survey , websift overview , privacy issues . The third and fourth parts are most important . It had a list of existing project about web usage mining which I saw many times in other pa-pe-rs , but this pa-pe-r is the one creating this list . Besides , it has been referred for more then twenty times . As we all know that , the higher the referred number is , the more important the pa-pe-r is , so I consider this pa-pe-r to be an important and successful one in this region.
In my opinion , the succeof this pa-pe-r dues to three reasons . The first reason is the profound computer knowledge owned by the authors . Web usage mining relates to many subjects , such as artificial intelligence , ontology , semantic analysis , but the most basic knowledge is computer science . The four authors are all professors of department of computer science and engineering in university of Minnesota . For myself , I am not major in computer science and I am not very good at computers , so I feel a little difficult to understand technologies used in this region.
